MAXIM - updating & extending our existing location assistance package
We have been asked to extend our existing Location data and Review for Trilogy and Arisaig, the new managers of Maxim in Lanarkshire, central to Edinburgh and Glasgow markets. We are extending our assistance into web marketing and site selection criteria tools for use with potential occupiers.
MediaCity UK
One of our last jobs in 2011 was a Location Review© for MediaCityUK in Manchester at Salford Quays.
Our modelling of the creative and digital media space has been used by various clients recently to assess catchments serving Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham.
Prospective occupiers considering Peel Media's MediaCityUK will now benefit from our analysis of the labour market that they will be entering.
Extending Our Services to Sheffield
At the tail end of 2011 we also completed an update to Creative Sheffield's service sector Location Review©.
We have now extended our coverage of Sheffield to add a manufacturing sector focus for the inward investment and business support team at Creative Sheffield.
The team use our benchmark data with inward investment enquiries and other projects around the Sheffield City Region.
St. Helens Location Review©
We are also updating the existing Location Review© covering St. Helens in Merseyside. This is the second of a series of Merseyside Reviews that were originally prepared for The Mersey Partnership and local authorities in the area - updated to our latest 2010/2011 datasets.
The St. Helens team use our benchmark and location data with inward investment enquiries and within indigenous business support initiatives.
Finalising Our European work..
We were busy during summer 2011 looking at alternative locations for a blue chip client in France, Germany and two central east European economies.
Our modelling of people and property costs is prepared and we have now been asked to extend our work on skills and workforce quality to standard of living and lifestyle factors during 2012 as the final decision draws close.
